Our market is currently operating from a temporary home at 614 North River Road following an unexpected disruption at our usual location. While this change hasn’t been easy, it has brought out the resilience, creativity, and strong sense of community that make our market so special. Every visit, purchase, and kind word makes a real difference right now. By supporting the market in this temporary space, you’re helping local farmers, makers, and small businesses continue to thrive during a challenging time. We invite you to come by, explore, and be part of keeping this vibrant community alive. Your support means more than ever-and we can’t wait to welcome you as part of our Permanent Community in this
Temporary Home.
All-year-round Saturdays: 9am-2pm & July and August Wednesdays: 9am-2pm
A visit to the Charlottetown Farmers Market is a beloved Saturday morning ritual only Islanders know, but visitors soon come to discover. It is the biggest farmers market in PEI — over 60 local vendors — and the only place you can hand-pick fresh produce from Island farms, enjoy a delicious lunch, acquire unique artisan ware, and find tasty treats for the kids.
More than shopping, the Charlottetown Farmers Market is a popular gathering place and living proof of the community ties that make PEI so special. There are more smiles and conversations exchanged at the Market on Saturdays than nickels and dimes. If you haven’t been recently, now is the time to discover new vendors and say hello to old favourites.
The Charlottetown Farmers’ Market itself is a not-for-profit, membership-based cooperative supporting local family businesses and our community!
Our mission is to offer a co-op market where local farmers, makers, and artisans can sell their locally created goods. Providing a community oriented, sustainable, and forward thinking environment for members and customers.
